New Delhi, India
Computer Literacy Foundation (CLF), a registered NGO (Reg. No. S-55181) Under societies registration act XXI of 1860 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi, founded by experts in information technology, science, education and media, presents the 5th International Informatics Olympiad (iiO) with the objective of promoting IT talents in India and abroad and to raise the expertise of Indian students at par with the international level.

The Foundation also aims at infusing interest in computer science amongst students by creating awareness and holding contests. It not only aims at bridging the digital divide but also actively prepares the young generation to the future challenges of the fast pace of information technology scenario.

iiO will assess the student's aptitude in computer science and motivate them to progress in the field of computer science. Besides, it will benefit the students in following ways:

Students judge themselves at international levels. The tests at local or regional level does not provide the right insight and judgment about the challenges ahead.
The concept of knowledge bank promoted by the Government of India and SMART schools promoted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development go beyond text books to emphasize upon IT skills and values important in the new millennium. CLF positively promotes these values.
iiO builds a solid foundation for school students to excel in computer science based on ICSE,CBSE and State board syllabus.
CLF provides comprehensive study materials on computer science subject through its website.
A comprehensive report based on Olympiad examination enables students to delve deeper into their strengths and weaknesses. It also motivates them towards excellence.
iiO promotes the cause of students by providing Books, CDs and other interactive learning materials either free of cost or at a subsidized rate.
iiO promotes IT talents from school to national and higher levels by recognizing their merit and awarding them.
iiO promotes participation of the teachers for the benefits of the student community.
